Dawn Prough has been writing since she was a child, though she didn’t start putting the words on paper until she was in college. Her first attempts were deemed good enough to keep her encouraged, and she has been writing ever since.

Dawn's hobby of participating in role-playing games has taught her much about the crafting of new worlds, the creation of interesting, dynamic personalities and character and the structure of a good plot, all elements necessary for a story. Much of her role-playing for the last six years has occurred online, where she is writing interactive stories.

The first of a projected series, City of Promise is Dawn's first published novel.
